1500-2500mm Height Corrosion Resistance Evaporative Cooling Pad Honeycomb Cooling Media for Poultry House Climate Management

The 7090 honeycomb evaporative cooling pad is the core component of a high-efficiency evaporative cooling system built on specially processed corrugated cellulose media. A uniform water film forms across the paper surface, and as hot outside air is drawn through the wet media by exhaust fans, water evaporation absorbs ambient heat to deliver cool, moist air indoors.

This natural evaporative cooling effect performs best when there is a large gap between outdoor dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures — the hotter and drier the climate, the greater the cooling performance. The pad is widely matched with poultry environmental control systems and greenhouse ventilation setups.

The core cooling component is the specially processed corrugated cellulose media. When water circulates over the pad, an even water film covers the corrugated channels. Negative-pressure exhaust fans pull hot, dry outdoor air through the wet media. Heat is absorbed during water evaporation, and cooled, humid air flows into the enclosed space.

This physical evaporation principle is passive and energy-saving. Cooling efficiency depends on the local dry and wet bulb temperature difference; performance rises significantly in hot, dry regions.

1. Optimized corrugated channel design creates ample evaporation area with excellent air permeability. Water spreads evenly across the whole pad wall, and cooling efficiency reaches above 85%.
2. No surfactant additive. The cellulose media features outstanding natural capillary action; water fully spreads within 4–5 seconds after contact.
3. Strong water absorption capacity: 60–70 mm in 5 minutes, or 200 mm within 1.5 hours.
4. The cellulose paper undergoes special hardening treatment, resisting sagging and deformation for extended service life.
5. Unique 3D honeycomb structure maximizes the contact area between airflow and water film for efficient heat exchange.
6. Dual functions of ventilation and dust interception. It filters fine dust from incoming air and is non-toxic and odorless. In addition to cooling, it can humidify and purify the air.
